Kód DI_a126 nahlásila ve voze jednotka „Měnič pohonu (invertor)“. Písmeno „a“ uprostřed kódu ho řadí mezi záznamy typu alert.
Drive Inverter — výkonová elektronika, která žene elektromotor. Kódy odsud se projeví omezením výkonu, hláškou o snížené akceleraci nebo v horším případě nemožností jet. Časté jsou i kódy o teplotě: měnič se při dlouhé zátěži chrání sám.
Nejběžnější typ. Vůz si událost zapsal a mohl ji zobrazit na displeji. Škála je široká — od drobnosti, která zmizí sama, po věc, kterou je potřeba řešit.
Takhle je chyba pojmenovaná přímo ve firmware vozu. U kódů bez popisu je to nejpřesnější vodítko, které existuje — název sám říká, čeho se událost týká.

Opište ho přesně, včetně písmene a čísla. Vyfotit displej je nejjistější — kódy se často liší jen jednou číslicí a záměna vede jinam.
Část kódů zmizí po restartu obrazovky nebo po tom, co vůz nechá pár hodin zamčený. Pokud se kód nevrátí, obvykle šlo o jednorázový výpadek.
Jednorázový záznam a kód, který naskočí po každé jízdě, jsou dvě různé věci. Servisu hodně pomůže, když víte, kdy přesně se objevuje.
Airbagy, brzdy, řízení a vysoké napětí nemá smysl vyčkávat. U ostatních skupin se dá počkat, jestli se kód vůbec vrátí.
