Kód DAS_w212 nahlásila ve voze jednotka „Řídicí jednotka asistentů (DAS)“. Písmeno „w“ uprostřed kódu ho řadí mezi záznamy typu varování.
Driver Assistance System — samotný počítač Autopilotu se zpracováním obrazu z kamer. Kódy popisují vnitřní stav jednotky: komunikaci, paměť, napájení.
Vůz upozorňuje, že něco není v pořádku. Jet se obvykle dá, ale některá funkce může být omezená.
Takhle je chyba pojmenovaná přímo ve firmware vozu. U kódů bez popisu je to nejpřesnější vodítko, které existuje — název sám říká, čeho se událost týká.

Opište ho přesně, včetně písmene a čísla. Vyfotit displej je nejjistější — kódy se často liší jen jednou číslicí a záměna vede jinam.
Část kódů zmizí po restartu obrazovky nebo po tom, co vůz nechá pár hodin zamčený. Pokud se kód nevrátí, obvykle šlo o jednorázový výpadek.
Jednorázový záznam a kód, který naskočí po každé jízdě, jsou dvě různé věci. Servisu hodně pomůže, když víte, kdy přesně se objevuje.
Airbagy, brzdy, řízení a vysoké napětí nemá smysl vyčkávat. U ostatních skupin se dá počkat, jestli se kód vůbec vrátí.
