Drive Inverter Warning: Excess Heat Unavailable (unexpectedly)

Drive Inverter Warning: No capable drive units detected

No drive units found that can produce torque

One or more drive units can produce torque and drive cycle is executed

Unable to produce any torque or power

Drive Inverter User Alert: TC Reduced by ADD

Active driveline damping (ADD) has degraded its state. This reduces the functionality and performance of Traction control. Check for other DI alerts prior to this that provide more detail to the specific cause.

This alert will clear once addState returns to NORMAL and all other Traction control input signals have become available.

Drive Inverter Warning: Accel pedal track 2 bad

Drive Inverter Warning: System limp mode triggered

Abnormal operation detected in the powertrain system. Look at limpReason in alert for exact trigger.

Reason for trigger is not present and drive cycle is executed

Drive system performance severely reduced (torque/power limited)

What to do about it

Write down the whole code

Copy it exactly, letter and number included. Photographing the screen is safest — codes often differ by a single digit, and mixing them up leads somewhere else entirely.

Try letting the car sleep and wake

Some codes clear after a screen restart or after the car sits locked for a few hours. If the code does not come back, it was usually a one-off glitch.

Watch whether it repeats

A one-off entry and a code that appears after every drive are two different things. It helps a service centre enormously if you know exactly when it shows up.

Do not wait on safety systems

With airbags, brakes, steering and high voltage there is no point waiting it out. With the other groups you can watch and see whether the code returns at all.
